The State Agency of TB and Lung Diseases is located near Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is a tertiary level hospital with 500 beds, half of which are for TB patients and remainder of other lung diseases- COPD, asthma, sarcoidosis etc. We provide high level management of patients with lung diaseases and thoracic surgery. We offer educational programs for medical students, primary care physicians, lung specialists. Our Agency is a designated WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Management of MDR TB. We see ourselves as demanders of services in collaboration projects with comparable facilities.
